Ham, Green Beans and Potatoes: Quick and Easy!
And you know that here at Bubba Pie we are all about making things as easy as possible. So, we just use frozen green beans for this recipe. There are some recipes out there that like to use fresh or canned green beans. If that is important to you, go for it but you may have to adjust the cooking time a bit!
Also, one other note is the size of your potatoes. Obviously, the size of your potato and the size you cut them into will determine how long you need to cook them. If they are on the larger side, you may need to put them in first for a bit to let them cook longer.
And, depending on how much you love onions, you can choose which onion to use in this recipe. If you are worried about the overpowering onion taste, you can always use a sweet onion like a Vidalia onion.
Looking for a new stock pot? Check out this one! It’s 16 quarts, so it’s large enough for just about any recipe. And it’s a great deal!
