What Is Puppy Chow?
If you work in an office, you know what will happen at some point in the weeks leading up to Christmas. There will probably be an office party or a pitch-in. One of the most common treats that I’ve always seen in the office is Puppy Chow. This treat is called so many different names! Some names include: reindeer chow, puppy chow, muddy munch or monkey munch. Evidently, it’s usually called Puppy Chow because it closely resembles dog food!
Usually, every year, you’ll see some version of this favorite holiday snack and, if your like me, you won’t be able to stop eating it. Generally speaking, it consists of Chex or another Rice Cereal that is covered in candy, melted chocolate and/or peanut butter. It’s then mixed with M&Ms, pretzels and any other sort of sweet or salty mix-ins.
