Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 32 ounces beef broth
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic in a large skillet.

  • When the meat is cooked through, pour it into the crockpot and season with Italian seasoning.

  • Add the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir to mix. Set the slow cooker to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.

  • When the cook time is up, remove the lid and break the lasagna noodles into the pot. Stir to mix.
