Ingredients
1poundground beef
1yellow onionfinely chopped
1teaspoonminced garlic
1tablespoonItalian seasoning
1 15ouncecan tomato sauce
1 28ouncecan crushed tomatoes
32ouncesbeef broth
12ounceslasagna noodles
1/2cupricotta cheese
1cupmozzarella cheese
Instructions
Brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic in a large skillet.
When the meat is cooked through, pour it into the crockpot and season with Italian seasoning.
Add the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir to mix. Set the slow cooker to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
When the cook time is up, remove the lid and break the lasagna noodles into the pot. Stir to mix.
Replace the lid and set the slow cooker to cook on high for 30 to 40 minutes, until the noodles are cooked through.
