Ingredients
For The Topping
1/2cupbutter
1cabbage headroughly chopped
1yellow onionfinely chopped
1 10-ouncecan cream of chicken soup
1/3cupsour cream
For The Casserole
1/4cupbuttermelted
2cupsRitz crackerscrushed
1cupshredded sharp cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the cabbage and onion and cook until the cabbage is tender.
Transfer the cooked cabbage to the baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
Stir together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until well combined.
Spread the mixture over the top of the cabbage.
Combine the melted butter and Ritz crackers until well mixed. Stir in the shredded cheese.
Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the top of the casserole.
Bake for 30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown.
