Ingredients

  • 1 box 15.25 oz, yellow cake mix
  • 1 small box 3.4 oz, lemon instant pudding mix
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1-1/2 cups orange juice divided
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 and grease and flour a fluted tube cake pan and set aside.
  • Mix together cake mix and pudding.

  • Once combined, beat with a hand mixer for 2 minutes.

  • Pour into prepared pan.

  • Bake for 38 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Once cake is cooked, poke holes in the cake with a skewer.

  • Whisk together powdered sugar, butter and remaining orange juice until combined. Pour over hot cake and let stand for 15 minutes.

  • Place a platter upside down on top of the cake and invert the pan and platter so cake falls onto the platter. Remove pan and let stand to cool until warm.
