CLASSIC CREAMED PEAS

A traditional side dish for any occasion. Smooth, creamy and slightly sweet. And so easy to make!

– 1 bag 16 oz, frozen peas – 2/3 cup chicken broth or use water – 3 tablespoons butter – 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream – 1/2 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder – 1/2 teaspoon onion powder – 1 tablespoon sugar

INGREDIENTS

PERFECT FOR:

1. Add peas and broth to a pan and cook on medium high until it begins to boil. 2. Reduce heat and stir in butter. 3. Whisk together whipping cream, salt, garlic powder, onion powder and sugar and mix well. 4. Pour over peas and heat on medium high until thick and bubbly, about 3 minutes. 5. Serve immediately.
