COPYCAT WENDY'S CHILI

– 1 lb ground beef – 1 green bell pepper finely chopped – 1 small onion finely chopped – 1 celery stalk finely chopped – 1 packet chili seasoning mix I used McCormick – 2 cups beef broth – 2 15- ounce cans tomato sauce – 1 10- ounce can diced tomatoes with green chilies – 1 14- ounce can chili beans – 1 14- ounce can pinto beans  – 1 14- ounce can kidney beans

- Brown the ground beef in a large stock pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the bell pepper, onion, and celery.

- When the beef is cooked through, add the chili seasoning and beef broth and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

- Add the tomato sauce, chili beans, pinto beans, and kidney beans. Stir to combine.

- Allow the chili to simmer for at least one hour, stirring occasionally.

- This easy copycat recipe makes a great family dinner any night of the week.
