Sweet meets savory with these decadent Chocolate Caramel Cookies. Soft, chewy and delicious, each bite is loaded with rich chocolate and caramel and then topped with a touch of sea salt!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, sift together dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a larger bowl, whisk together egg and granulated sugar until creamy. Add melted chocolate and melted butter.

Slowly add dry ingredients into bowl of wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon. Once cookie batter has formed, fold in caramel chips.

Drop mounds of cookie batter onto lined cookie sheets, each mound should be about 1 ½ inches in size.  Sprinkle a bit of rock salt on each cookie mound.
