1 15-ouncecan diced tomatoes

2teaspoonsred pepper flakes
Instructions
Brown the Italian sausage in a large skillet with the onion and garlic.
When the meat is cooked through, drain excess grease. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, basil, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When ready to serve, add the prepared pasta and stir to coat in the sauce.
