Ingredients

  • 3 cans 15.25 oz each, sliced peaches in syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or to taste.
  • 1 package 15.25 oz, yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 stick 1/2 cup butter, cold

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 and grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  • Pour 2 cans of peaches into the prepared pan. Drain the third can and pour just the peaches into the pan. I've had some questions on this so: To be clear, you need 3 cans of peaches total. Two of cans, pour in the pan WITH the juice. The third can, DRAIN the juice and then pour it in with the other peaches. This results in the amount of juice we like in the dish. If you want to add or subtract juice, you are welcome to try draining another can or not draining any cans at all. But you'll need 3 cans total for sure.

  • Slice butter into 1/8" slices and add on top of the pan.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes and remove from oven. Cool until warm and serve with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream.
