Ingredients
For The Cake Layer:
1Box of Yellow Cake Mix
1Cupof Water
3Eggs
1/3Cupof Vegetable Oil
For The Apple Pie Layer:
6Granny Smith Applespeeled, cored and sliced thinly.
4tbspBrown Sugar
1tspCinnamon
1tspLemon Juice
For The Topping:
3/4CupFlour
1/2CupBrown Sugar
1/4tspSalt
1/2CupButter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 13X9 Inch Pan with cooking spray.
Make Yellow Cake Mix according to instructions on the box.
In medium sized bowl, mix together the apples, 4 tbsp brown sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice.
In another bowl, mix together flour, 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, salt and butter. Use a fork to cut all the ingredients together.
Pour Yellow Cake Batter into the pan. Layer the apple mixture on top.
Then layer the top layer on top of the apples.
Bake for 45 -50 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to fully cool and sift powdered sugar on top as desired.
