Strawberry Jello Cool Whip Pie

This Strawberry Jello Cool Whip Pie is a super easy No Bake Recipe that uses only 4 ingredients (and one of those is water!). You can prep it in under 15 minutes and it makes the perfect summer dessert recipe for cookouts, picnics and fun family gatherings!

  • 1 3- ounce package strawberry gelatin
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups whipped topping
  • 1 premade graham cracker pie crust


  1. Add the strawberry gelatin mixture to a large bowl. Pour in the boiling water and stir until the gelatin is dissolved, around 2 minutes. Stir in the cold water. Continue stirring until the mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Add the whipped topping and stir until smooth. Chill the pie filling for 30 minutes.

  3. When the filling is set, spread it into the pie crust. Chill the pie for at least 4 hours before serving.

Recipe Notes

We used Strawberry Jello Mix in our recipe. And, while my daughter absolutely loves the "pink" color that this results in, you can certainly try lots of different flavors to liven things up!

I've also seen versions of this recipe with fresh fruit folded into the mixture. Or you could garnish this Strawberry Cool Whip Pie with a fresh fruit of your choice!

This is a great recipe to make with the kids. Let them pick out the color that they want and let them help in the kitchen, there really is no way to mess this recipe up. But it may be best to let mom handle the part with the boiling water.
