  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease and flour a loaf pan. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl mix dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, add bananas, sugar, egg and vanilla and mix well. Add dry ingredients to banana mixture and mix just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 35-45 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely before slicing.
