Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bacon cut into 1" pieces
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 8 russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • Add bacon and onions to a large stock pot and heat over medium high heat until cooked well.
