1package crescent roll dough
1poundground beef
1small onionfinely chopped
1cupthousand island dressingplus more for topping
1/3cupketchup
1tablespoonmustard
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper
4slicesAmerican cheesecut into strips
Shredded lettuce
Chopped pickles
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams together. Place the dough in the bottom of the prepared dish.
Bake the dough for 10 minutes, until just beginning to brown.
While the crescent roll dough is baking, brown the ground beef with the onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper.
When the meat is fully cooked, add the thousand island dressing, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
Spread the meat mixture over the top of the baked crescent roll dough and top with the sliced cheese.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
When ready to serve, garnish with lettuce and chopped pickles, then drizzle thousand island dressing over the top.
