  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter 1 stick cold and cubed
  • 1 cup buttermilk


  1. Preheat oven to 400 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt to a food processor and process for 5 seconds or until mixed through. Add butter and process until fine crumbs form, about 10 seconds. Add buttermilk and process until a dough forms on one side of the food processor.
  3. Drop dough, using a 3 tablespoon portion scoop, onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
