Garlic Butter Green Beans

These Garlic Butter Green Beans are a super quick, easy and delicious side dish for any occasion! Using only a couple of ingredients and a couple minutes, these tender-crisp green beans are sauteed in butter and garlic for an easy side dish that is perfect for anything from the holidays to a weeknight family meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds fresh green beans
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper

Instructions

  • Place the beans in a pan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and stir often. Cook until fork tender, around 10 minutes. Drain.
  • When the beans are cooked, heat the butter in a large skillet until melted. Add the garlic and saute for one minute until fragrant.
    Saute butter and garlic in skillet.
  • Strain the beans and add them to the pan with the butter. Stir to coat the beans in butter and saute for five minutes.
    Toss Green Beans in Butter and Garlic
  • Season with salt and pepper before serving.
