Ingredients
1poundground beef
1green bell pepperfinely chopped
1small onionfinely chopped
1celery stalkfinely chopped
1packet chili seasoning mixI used McCormick
2cupsbeef broth
2 15-ouncecans tomato sauce
1 10-ouncecan diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 14-ouncecan chili beans
1 14-ouncecan pinto beansdrained and rinsed
1 14-ouncecan kidney beansdrained and rinsed
Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large stock pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the bell pepper, onion, and celery.
When the beef is cooked through, add the chili seasoning and beef broth and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
Add the tomato sauce, chili beans, pinto beans, and kidney beans. Stir to combine.
Allow the chili to simmer for at least one hour, stirring occasionally.
