CLASSIC SUMMER DESSERT
Summer Pineapple Souffle
– 1 can 20 oz, crushed pineapple, drained – 1 cup white sugar – 6 eggs
– 1/2 cup 1 stick, butter, melted – 5 slices white bread cut into 1/2" cubes – 2 tbap brown sugar
SIDE DISH OR DESSERT!
1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 2-1/2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside. 2. Add pineapple, sugar and eggs to a bowl and mix well. 3. Stir in butter and bread and mix. 4. Pour into prepared pan and sprinkle with brown sugar. 5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool slightly and serve warm.
This Pineapple Souffle only has 6 ingredients and is so easy to throw together and put in your oven. Great as a dessert for your next cookout, it can also be a delicious side that pairs perfectly with any salty dish like ham!
