SALTED CARAMEL CHOCOLATE COOKIES
SOFT AND CHEWY!
– 1 cup all-purpose flour – ¼ cup cocoa powder – 1 tsp baking soda – Pinch salt – 1 large egg – 1 cup granulated sugar – ½ cup chocolate chips, melted – ½ cup butter, melted – 1 cup caramel chips – 1 tbsp rock salt
1. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 3. In a small bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. 4. In a larger bowl, whisk together egg and granulated sugar until creamy. 5. Add melted chocolate and melted butter into wet ingredients and mix until well combined. 6. Slowly add dry ingredients into bowl of wet ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon. 7. Fold in caramel chips. 8. Drop mounds of cookie batter onto lined cookie sheets, each mound should be about 1 ½ inches. 9. Sprinkle a bit of rock salt on each cookie mound. 10. Bake for 12-14 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
