This Kuchen Recipe is a traditional German Dessert consisting of a sweet dough, a custard layer and a fruit topping. For this recipe, we used peaches but you can really use whatever you’d like!

Preheat oven to 450 and grease an 11" round baking pan. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup flour, powdered sugar and salt with butter.

Cut in butter with the back of a spoon to create a dough. This will take a little time, so don't give up. Mixture may look crumbly, but will hold shape when pressed together.

Press dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Place peaches on top of dough.

Whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, salt and sour cream until smooth.

Pour on top of peaches.

Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake for an additional 35 minutes. Remove from oven and cool until just warmed or cool completely until ready to serve.
