GARLIC BUTTER GREEN BEANS

INGREDIENTS

– 1 ½ pounds fresh    green beans – ¼ cup butter – 4 cloves garlic minced – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper

1. Place the beans in a pan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and stir often. Cook until fork tender, around 10 minutes. Drain. 2. When the beans are cooked, heat the butter in a large skillet until melted. Add the garlic and saute for one minute until fragrant. 3. Strain the beans and add them to the pan with the butter. Stir to coat the beans in butter and saute for five minutes. 4. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
