– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil – 1 lb chicken breast, cubed – 1 small onion, chopped – 1 cup chopped carrots – 1 cup chopped celery – 1 teaspoon oregano – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 teaspoon parsley – 1 teaspoon salt – 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper – 2-1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix, divided – 4 cups chicken broth – 2/3 cup milk

EASY SOUTHERN RECIPE

FAMILY DINNER!!

1. Cook oil, chicken and onions to a stockpot. 2. Add broth carrots, celery, spices, 1/2 cup baking mix and mix well and bring to boil. 3. Cover and reduce to simmer. 4. Cook for 20 minutes. 5. In a separate bowl, combine the 2 cups baking mix and milk. 6. Drop by teaspoon dollops into the chicken mixture. 7. Heat on low, uncovered, for 10 minutes. 8. Cover and cook for 10 additional minutes. Serve immediately.
